Andre and Antonia got married at Diep in die Berg , one of my favourite venues in Pretoria and very close to my home.
My couple for the day was the groom Andre and the always happy, always in a good mood Antonia was his bride.
I first went to Diep in die Berg to photograph the tables and reception area. Andre was there already, making sure his bride will be happy when she sees it later on
Then it was off to the bride, she and Andre were getting dressed at a guesthouse nearby. A good friend of hers was the make up artist. Antonia was happy and cheerful and very impressed with her wedding day. She was clearly enjoying every second, no sign of nerves here.
I asked Andre before the ceremony if he was going to be emotional when Antonia walked in, he said he will be cool. But the moment he saw his beautiful bride walking in on the arm of her mom the tears were flowing. Touching moments indeed.
Alistair Westcott was the minister that married them, and wow, what a ceremony from him once again. This guy is in a league of his own.
And 35 min later we had a very happy Mrs Robins and very emotional Mr Robins. What an awesome couple, I just love it when people show their true emotions.
The photoshoot was a very and fun occasion, with Andre commenting on just about every photo how beautiful his wife looked.
And so their life together started, witnessed by friends and family, who enjoyed every second of the reception
