Kleinkaap Wedding

Kleinkaap Boutique Hotel is really, really an awesome place to get married at, it is any wedding photographer’s dream, lots of places to take photos, VERY good service and STUNNING food. Also the first time in 180+ weddings that the wedding coordinator actually calls me the day before the time (I’ve never met her) to find out if everything is ok for the next day and if I need something. I LOVE you guys Kleinkaap!

And Stephen and Andrea fitted very neatly into this elegant setting, this was definitely the right place for them.

I asked Andrea about how they’ve met each other:

Our Story

Stephen and I met 5 and a half years ago. One of my friends was dating one of his friends at the time. My friend decided that we would make a good couple and Stephen agreed, unfortunately I didn’t and turned him down the first time he asked me out. A few months down the road I changed my mind and so began our relationship on 15 November 2008.

A few years later we moved in together and adopted some crazy dogs, our fur kids. I think this is when it became clear we are meant to be because we are both crazy dog people (I still wish they could of been at the wedding). When talking about marriage and proposals I said I would never want to be proposed to in public or on my Birthday. Well he knew he had to catch me off guard and that I would figure anything else out so he proposed to me the day before my birthday in 2011. He got down on one knee in front of my family and his family and asked me to be his Wife.

We decided to get married on our 5th anniversary because it is a special date, and that way there is only one date for him to remember!
