The first time I met Arlu en Ilane Ilane was VERY nervous. It was at their pre wedding shoot at the Pretoria Botanical gardens.
I decided to first have a drink with them, and then to do the shoot. 15 minutes into they shoot, and they were pro’s.
I really enjoyed my time with them and was very excited to shoot their wedding, it was almost like shooting a good friend’s wedding.
They got married at Green Leaves Country Lodge and venue at Hartbeespoortdam. Their decorations looked beautiful.
The getting ready was the normal beehive of activity.
And then the church.
Arlu was very emotional when Ilane walked in on the arm of her dad. It is clear that there is a deep love between these two.
A special touch was when their grandmother came forward to bring the rings. I have never seen this.
After the church we started with the photo shoot while their guests took some photos in our photobus
This time there was no sign of nerves, just two people in love, and proud of the fact that they were married.
The three of us had a great photo session.
Then it was party time, and this lot CAN party!
Arlu and Ilane, thanks for choosing me as your wedding photographer, i have a lot of respect for you guys, and I will always have fond memories of our times together.
