So, on Friday I drove through to Clarens to photograph Beau & Marcil’s wedding, they were getting married at Linwood farm. I enjoyed the trip, my Nexus plugged in to the radio, listening to my favourite music on the way there (whilst driving around all the potholes) (the music involved Ozzy Osbourne, Judas Priest and Leonard Cohen)
A friend of mine was the videographer, Herman van Deventer, we were in matric together in 1980, and this was only the second time I saw him since then , we had a good time together capturing this couples memories.
This is just a little preview for Beau and Marcil, Marcil’s dress was VERY special, it was the same dress her grandma wore in 1949 at her wedding, I gave the photos a little bit of a vintage look to fit with the dress.
This was my second wedding with the brand new Fujifilm X-T1, what an unbelievable camera, this will definitely be my companion on many weddings to come.
