I asked them a couple of questions about their wedding and how they’ve met.
How did you meet?
We met at my little brothers cricket lesson, Leon was the coach and I took my brother to the lesson, from there our love story started.
Tell us about the proposal
Leon proposed after 2 years of dating it was very unexpected but the best surprise ever.
Describe your wedding day, anything specific that you will always remember
We will remember everything as it was really the best day of our lives, everything went better as planned.
We were calm and just enjoyed every moment.

The dress
I was in love with my dress it had allot of detail and bling, princess style. It was everything I wanted.
I got it at Eurobride Pretoria and I was very happy with them!
Highlight of the wedding
Saying I DO, there is no better feeling than promising to be together forever through everything.
It is one of the best feelings making such a promise in front of all the people you love.
Was there any drama
Yes there was but we try to not think about it as no one noticed anyway.
The Honeymoon
We went to Mauritius, it was absolutely amazing. The people are friendly and helpful.
It’s definitely worth going there on honeymoon
There are lots of fun activities you can do, will definitely recommend the catamaran cruises and scuba diving.

Do you have any advice for other brides/grooms-to-be?
Enjoy the planning because the wedding day goes by very quickly
Remember to enjoy it and don’t stress everything will work out.
What was your inspiration behind your overall wedding decor and colour choices?
We wanted to keep it simple and creative, we had allot of time to look for ideas and we had to eliminate some later on.
BLUE is our favourite colour as everyone knew so I integrated it everywhere I could. There was not even a mention of another colour.
