Demi and Patrick love each other, and they LOVE nature. it was then just fitting that they got married at the spectacular Monate Game Lodge close to Modimolle.
The rain almost did not play with. It started raining when they were still getting dressed, and everyone was getting worried because their ceremony was to be outside under an old big fig tree.
But, as we were leaving for the ceremony it stopped raining.
Patrick couldn’t contain his tears when he saw his beautiful bride walking down the aisle on the arm of her dad. In fact, a lot of tears were shed on the day. This is an emotional very close-knit family.
They even planted a tree during the ceremony on the grasslands of Monate Game Lodge, one day they will be able to bring their kids here and show them the tree that mom and dad have planted all those years ago.
A tree that would have grown just as their love will keep on growing, because these two are clearly meant for each other.
I loved their idea with the table plates. They cut trees and engraved their names on it. They then asked their guests to write messages on it for them. They will now use this as stepping stones at their house after they have treated it to prevent rain to spoil it.
Demi and Patrick, you two are such special people. All of us that photographed and filmed your wedding enjoyed the day with you tremendously.
