Die Klipskuur

The zinc doors have been thrown open, the flour is sprinkled on the floor, the tables are buckling under the weight of the food, the lanterns are flickering. Nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, grandfather and grandmother are adorned in their most beautiful apparel. The horses, chickens and geese are already curiously approaching.
Everything is ready for your wedding party. The Klipskuur is located on the Leonards family farm, Rietfontein, 100 km south of Johannesburg. The old barn built in 1914 has been lovingly restored and converted into a farm-style chic venue. Unmatched charm and old-world simplicity provide the perfect backdrop to celebrate with your loved ones. A warm welcome awaits you.

Eternal ties can be forged in the Boskapel (wattelbos), in the Stalkapel or in the garden with a cricket choir as accompaniment. Couples who prefer a more traditional ceremony can officiate their vows in one of the lovely churches in Heidelberg. While the bride and groom smile for pics, guests can enjoy freshly baked breads and a variety of cheeses while enjoying the last sun of the day. 90 to 150 people can prepare for a feast of nostalgic food prepared by our kitchen.
