Wedding Photography at Greenleaves
Some people are just different (check out Graeme’s white shoes, and he had golf tees instead of flowers on his lapel), and just meant to be together…like Graeme and Alesia.
It was one of those weddings that you didn’t want to end…everybody had so much fun. Alesia and her bridesmaids are BEST friends, just have a look at some of their reactions on the photos. At times they were laughing and crying at the same time. With bridesmaids like she had NOTHING can go wrong at your wedding. Graeme asked his dad to be one of his best men. How special is that? I have NEVER seen that before.
A beautiful bride, handsome groom, FANTASTIC friends and family and and a venue like Green leaves = A wedding I won’t easily forget.

The love story of Graeme and Alesia
Graeme and Alesia met 6 years ago through work. He eventually asked her for drinks, she played hardball for a month or two..and then gave in. They started going out. 6 years later graeme realised nobody else wanted him (Alesia’s words) and Graeme asked her to marry him.
He bought her a ticket to Paris (France, not Free State) for her birthday. With the idea to ask her to marry him, she just didn’t know it. So…he took her to the Eiffel tower, he suggest they have champagne, she was a bit moody and tired…and said no. (Can you believe this? LOL)
Then he suggest they go to the Arc de Triomphe, when they got there he dropped to his knee, Alesia said: “No, no, no” She couldn’t believe what he was doing. Graeme asked her “Is that now a yes or a no?” She said: No, I mean Yes!” They were engaged.
Definitely a romantic guy!

I have photographed many weddings here, but there is always a new corner to discover for a wedding photographer, so little time, so many places to photograph. One of the reasons why Alesia chose Greenleaves is because of the bell at the chapel and the way everything there reminded her of Paris where they got engaged.
