Like all good weddings this one will have a story that Jaco and Anneline will be able to tell their grandchildren one day.
Anneline discovered a week before her wedding that she will not be able to get her dream dress, there was some problems with the person making the dress. Anneline then frantically started looking for a new dress and found one a couple of days before the wedding…all is well…she thought.
At 20 minutes to 4 she was in her wedding dress, and then discovered that this dress will never stay up for the duration of the wedding. (the dress had no straps over Anneline’s shoulders) The hairdresser that was there knew a little bit about dresses. Luckily the ribbons at the back of the dress used to tie it up with were very long. He subsequently ran out, found a needle and thread somewhere and cut a part of the ribbons at the back off. He then made some straps for the dress, at just past 4 Anneline walked into the church. All her guests unaware of the little drama that just played itself off during the last twenty minutes.
The rest of the wedding went past without any problems, we had great fun with the photo shoot in the beautiful gardens at Olympus Stream in Pretoria East.
I must mention this, I just love Jaco and Anneline’s family, they made Surika, Timothy and myself feel very much at home. They were always worried about us, asking us whether we had something to eat. Anneline’s dad even insisted in taking us for a drink in the pub later the evening…good people. (Talking about good people, have a look out for their grandfather with his Blue Bulls hat on. )
One more thing caught my attention and their wedding, I have never seen this before. Tables are normally numbered 1,2,3 or with names etc. These two gave the tables unique numbers that had some significance to them, exp: Table 290. And then written on the number…This indicate the number of weeks that Jaco and Anneline dates before they got engaged. Table 13…indicating the day in September that they fell in love with each other. Very Cool idea!
Anneline and Jaco, you had a beautiful wedding, fitting for the beautiful people that you are. Thanks for making us part of your wedding day. We just know that your wedding will be blessed in every conceivable way!

ONTMOETING
(I must say, Jaco doesn’t look to shy to me anymore…not at all!
