Jilt is from the Netherlands and Samantha is from South Africa.
As tradition requires, Jilt and his family had to travel all the way from the Netherlands to come and fetch his bride. At the end of the formalities, Samantha and two of her bridesmaids came out of the house, covered in blankets and poor Jilt had to pick out the right bride! Luckily for him he chose the correct lady.
Jilt’s family entertained everyone with a traditional dance en which Samantha joined in, dressed in their traditional clothes and shoes called clogs. It really was a day where people from completely different cultures and traditions came together to celebrate Jilt and Samantha’s special day.
