We filmed Nikola and Rosiana’s wedding video at Gecko Ridge in Pretoria. In Nikola’s culture, it is custom for the groom and his groomsmen to walk over to the bride’s room before the ceremony, to bargain for her hand in marriage. The bridesmaids and groomsmen bargain back and forth until they come up with an acceptable offer. We had such a good laugh, as one of the groomsmen managed to bargain Rosiana’s sister for himself đŸ™‚ Nikola finally won Rosiana’s favours by serenading her with a love song.
