Ockie and Alme are people that are very close to my heart. I photographed Ockie’s brother Zack’s wedding a few years ago. At that stage Ockie was still single. Now he has met his future wife Alme, and the wedding bells are ringing.
Their wedding day didn’t start well, Alme got food poisoning on the evening before the wedding, and she had to be rushed to the hospital. But this is all behind her now, here where she is sitting in the bridal suite getting ready she is all smiles and ready to marry the man of her dreams.
They got married at the beautiful Hertford Country Hotel & Function Venue . The Hertford’s old-world warmth, hospitality and charm was a beautiful match for Ockie and Alme’s wedding
Their happiness were tangible, you could just see how much they mean to each other. The photo shoot was just a time for them to spend more time with each other and to celebrate their new union.
The evening was enjoyed with friends and family from all over. And it was so nice for me to see old familar faces like Zack and Ockie’s parents.
They always say a bride looks for someone like her dad. Alme obviously also believes in this as her dad’s name is also Ockie.
Ockie and Alme, you two are so special, and so good together, thanks for choosing us as your wedding photographer and videographers.
