The wedding we’ve been waiting for. But we first have to go a few months back. We were on holiday in Mocambique. In Bilene. and we met Regardt and Estazel, they were camping next to us. We became good friends with them and Clint and Linda that camped next to us over the next four days. Regardt said he is going to give me a call one day when they get married.
True to his word I got a call from Regardt two months later. They are getting married in Polokwane in June. We were just as excited about this wedding as they are. We arrived in Plokwane at Villa Maroela Lodge early the Saturday to meet our friends. And what a surprise. Estazel’s dad and I was at school together 40 years ago!
All their friends stayed over at Villa Maroela. We enjoyed the farm-like atmosphere and watching the White Lions that they breed with.
Regardt was in tears when his beautiful bride walked down the isle, I must admit I had to swallow the tears away as well.It is things like this that makes my job worth while.
The whole wedding was one big “kuier” and everyone was clearly having the time of their life!
We got the most beautiful golden light during the shoot!
Regardt and Estazel. You are two VERY, VERY special people. We hope we still have a long journey together ahead of us. Thanks for inviting us to be your wedding photographer and videographers.
