Richard and Adele got married at Mellow Oaks in Roodepoort in Gauteng. In exactly the same chapel that I got married in nearly 3 years ago. The place and people thus have very special memories to me. I was thus very excited when Richard and Adele asked me to be their wedding photographer.
They would have married in August 2011 already, but then they found out that they are expecting their first child, the cutest little guy named Troy. What was special that I have never experienced was the fact that Troy was christened right after his mummy and daddy got married….and he had his own cake at the wedding to celebrate that.
Richard and Adele have been going out for 3 and a half years already, they met on a chat room on Mixit, the first day Adele have been on Mixit. (Who say nothing good ever happen on Mixit?)
Adele say that was also the last time she’s been on Mixit.
They immediately like chatting to each other and went out the week after that to the Keg…and dancing afterwards…love at first sight! I just love these stories, it is so nice if somebody met another person and immediately know you are meant for each other.
They decided to get married whilst eating at the Cattle Baron, Adele actually brought up the subject and said she think they must get married, Richard thought it was a good idea, and they started planning everything.
